Efekt Streisand

Moj moto je, da se lahko vsak dan nekaj novega naučimo. Najbolj ugodno je, da se učimo iz tujih napak. Najbolj efektivno pa seveda, če se naučimo kaj iz lastnih. Včasih boleče, včasih uničujoče. To je pač življenje.

Družabna omrežja so na sceni že nekaj časa in marketinški strokovnjaki vestno sledijo razvoju in delovanju le-teh in hkrati domišljajo nove in nove ideje, ki bi osnovne funkcionalnosti omrežij pretopile v uporabno vrednost za lastne znamke.

Ena od pomembnejših lekcij, ki se jo moramo v teoriji digitalnih omrežij naučiti je efekt Streisand in več kot očitno je, da marsikdo zakonitosti omrežij ne jemlje dovolj resno ali pa, da jih sploh ne pozna.

Kaj je efekt Streisand in kaj ima Barbra s tem?

Če prosto citiram omiljeno Wikipedijo, je to ...internetni fenomen, kjer se poskus cenzure in/ali omejevanja objave določene informacije vrne kot bumerang, saj se informacija širi z veliko hitrostjo in zaobjame večjo množico uporabnikov interneta kot bi jo v osnovi s samo objavo...

Barbra Streisand je v letu 2003 protestirala proti objavi fotografije njene hiše na internetu. Tožba je dejansko pod žaromete postavila sporno fotografijo in posledično si jo je ogledalo mnogo več posameznikov..

V zadnjem času se je z ignoriranjem ali nepoznavanjem pravila št. 1 najbolj opekel Nike. Kdo bi si mislil, kajne? Če je kdo marketinški profi, je to Nike.. Več o tem, kako so ga zašuštrali, tukaj in tukaj.

Nepoznavanje zakonov interneta ne more biti izgovor, preveč nas stane. Pa vseeno, tudi če nismo strokovnjaki na tem področju, lahko uporabimo zdravo kmečko pamet, t.i. common sense in eno od božjih zapovedi, ki pravi "ne laži" (p.p.p. ne prikrivaj)..

Naj mirno pluje vaša onlajn barka in ne delajte nevede iz muhe slona, da vas miške ne pohodijo.

Kako se pa obnašaš!? na Tviterju

ne zamujaj na... no, ne spodobi se zamujat pa pika, ne govori s polnimi usti, sploh pa ne poj, ne teci čez cesto pa čeprav imaš čisto nove superge z odsevniki, prepusti sedež starejšim, če niso preveč tečni. vse to v realnem življenju. lepo/spodobno obnašanje pa je zaželjeno tudi na tviterju.

bodi:

pristen (bodi, kar si)

potrpežljiv (ne se prepirat in vztrajat pri zadnji besedi)

prijetna družba (pogovarjaj se v prijateljskem tonu in odgovarjaj na tvite namenjene tebi)

nevsiljiv (če tvitaš za podjetje ali brand ne objavljaj preveč, tvoji posti pa naj ne bodo samo linki do tvojih strani)

pošten (spoznaj se s pojmom RT)

predvsem pa nikoli ne pozabi, da so tvoje objave javne.

Kmečki stolpič z morsko vodo v Dubaju

Studiomobile, arhitekturno podjetje iz Italije že nekaj let deluje na področju Združenih arabskih emiratov. Njihov najnovejši dosežek je koncept za vertikalno kmetijo z morsko vodo.

V osnovi morska voda ohlaja in vlaži tople grede v sklopu stolpa in hkrati namaka rastline.. Jasno, da je badžet ogromen, bojda pa je projekt realno izvedljiv, ker ubije dve muhi na en mah: prevoz je zahteven in prometni zastoji so stalnica. Vedno pa je tu še zelo visoka cena rodovitne zemlje (puščava pač).

Dizajn spominja na ogromno steblo hajtek rastline, po katerem se robo-ajd vzpenja v nebo.

Poslovno na Tviterju: šteje kvaliteta ali kvantiteta?

Vprašanje, s katerim sem se tudi sama ukvarjala zadnjih nekaj tednov. Morda so prav v tem zapisu pravi odgovori..


Ključno je pravzaprav ravnotežje med družabno interakcijo in promocijo. In kot je učil že Siddharta, srednja pot je najboljša pot, se tudi tu držimo osrednje linije, ki ne deli in ločuje, temveč povezuje.


Pomembno je, da se za profilom na tviterju da prepoznati resnično osebo, ki tvita v imenu podjetja (brenda, karkoližeja) Po mojih izkušnjah to res najbolje funkcionira - ljudje imajo občutek, da se menijo s človekom in ne avtomatiziranimi RSS-i in neosebnimi sporočili. Tu je srž socialnih omrežij  - odnos person2person, kljub temu, da gre hkrati za promocijo.


Bottom line, ljudje ti morajo zaupati. Da ti lahko zaupajo, jim moraš biti všeč. Če hočeš biti všečen, te morajo najprej spoznati.. V obratnem vrstnem redu torej ;)

Google turned some heads this week when they announced behavior-based advertising - targeted ads based on browsing history. Although not as striking, FacebookFacebook reviews made some headlines as well, announcing geo and language ad targeting. Both cases display the desire of advertisers to have as detailed and targeted advertising campaigns as possible, as well as GoogleGoogle reviews and Facebook’s desire to simply make more money through advertising.


Concerns have been raised by privacy groups over user data and Google’s method of opting-out of behavior-based ads. But there is another argument: bringing more relevant and less intrusive ads to the user is a positive step technologically, economically, and socially. But what impact does behavior-based advertising have on society, and is it a good one?

Yeeeij Real-time Facebook Stream?

Facebook Stream will take over News Feed and show real-time activities (status updates, photo and video posting etc.) of other users on your homepage. Since Twitter’s growing popularity is based on real-time interaction and exchange of information this could mean a step fwd for Facebook.

The difference remains in adding people to your friendlist. While Twitter encourages people to interact with people they don’t necessarily know in real life, Facebook was designed to support keeping the relationships and not getting to know new random people. Friends on my Facebook friend list are people that I got to know and befriend in my real life and a few colleagues from work sphere. However on Twitter I add and follow people that have sth to say or have information on different fields that interest me (i.e. social media, marketing, retail…). Very little actual friends of mine use Twitter…

Fortunately users can set privacy levels for different content, so it is possible to use Facebook as a friend connection and professional network. It's no fun adjusting these levels, but it's better than future regrets you might get...

The statistics show that although Facebook users are engaged in use for a longer period, Twitter users are actually partially attentive throughout the day. Facebook wants to achieve just that. I believe user engagement on Facebook will be increased for it will become even more interactive and interesting. But that probably depends on the number of actively involved friends one has in his/her network. I am sure in few months we will forget how the current Facebook even looked like and enjoy the perks of streaming our lives…*alivea*
